i guess we're "officially" engaged now

We did it. We took the official engagement photo.

Chris is trying to get me to change the wedding location to Virginia at the theatre. This is probably going to be an ongoing discussion.

But, for sure, my friend and our resident costume designer, Jenny, said she would be "honored" to make my dress! That's awesome. Jenny has great style. This will be very exciting.

Yes? No? It'd be the most appropriate picture of us to use....

I haven't posted much on here lately because nothing has really happened nor will it happen for months. We may already have to move the tentative date back a week, but we'll see. I'm in this weird wedding limbo. The initial excitement wore off (the other day this man who ushers at the theatre came up to me and said, "I just heard the good news! Congratulations!!" I said, "Wait. What good news? Oh, right! Thanks! Hahahahaha!") and we can't actually plan anything this far in advance anyway so for the next couple of months we will TRY to save money and maybe I'll get the balls to ask Jenny if she'd like to design and make a wedding dress. John suggested I do it and now every time I see her she seems too busy. It's such a great idea, though, so I really want to.
